Pointing your domain to our server. |
As soon as you hosting account is active, you'll need to point your domain to our server. There are several options for it:
- You can order the registration of your domain name at our company. So, we'll register the domain for you and set up the correct NameServers in order to point it to the server your account is on.
- You point your domain via your domain registrar by changing NameServers records. If you already have a registered domain name and want to point it to our server, you need to:
- contact your current domain registrar company and ask them to set up Private NameServers for your domain
- or change the NameServers records to ours shared NSs:
| for Linux hosting: |
ns1.fastnext.com |
69.72.157.16 |
| ns2.fastnext.com |
65.110.46.206 |
| for Windows hosting: |
check account activation info or
contact support department
|
This usually takes 24-48 hours but can take longer depending on your Registrar.
- You can order the transfer of the domain name to our registrar. In such a case, you'll need to provide us with the EPP/Authorization key for the transfer. You can get it at your current domain registrar company. You should also make sure that your domain is unlocked for the transfer, otherwise the transfer will fail. This usually takes 24-48 hours but can take longer depending on your Registrar. Check also the following article.
